WHY Did We Create This?

Deb’s Story….

Over three years ago, I purchased Stuart’s eBook Prints Make Profits (now in its third revision!) and started going through his training.  At the time, I was like a lot of other people – I was selling on eBay, successfully, but working my butt off trying to maintain the $1,000 in sales mark to keep my PowerSeller status.

I had read many eBay success eBooks, and knew that I needed TWO major things:

1. A REPEAT customer base that I could send notifications to weekly telling them about the stuff I had for sale that they would find of interest.
   .
   At the time, I was selling a huge mish-mash of found objects, and chances were VERY good that I may never again find that unique object that sold for over $100 bucks!
   .
2. An eBay niche that was easy to source (using arbitrage) and had fantastic mark-up profits with high sell through.
   .
   Unfortunately, Stuart’s (first edition) eBook fell a bit short on the research end of things.I personally ended up accidently stumbling on a couple different niches, but never continued down the print selling path because I wasn’t able to find a reliable research METHOD….
   .

The concept in Stuart’s eBook appealed to me… A LOT.  My next hurdle was how to find more books, how to actually mat the prints, AND how to get the pages out of a book without damaging them!

I was in a HUGE conundrum!

I also wondered what mat boards to use, where to buy them, how to figure out the right aperture (inside opening), what tape to ultimately use (and where to put it)… the list went on and on!  In fact, a LOT of this stuff never actually became clear to ME until I saw Stuart do it while videotaping him last summer!

By focusing on what I had trouble understanding through print, we created an amazing teaching tool that fills in those fuzzy blanks that still may be there for people who can’t learn through print and pictures alone! Even after we added many detailed photos to the third revision of Prints Make Profits, the video was still a WAY better method for me personally to learn by!

The next issue I had (back in very early January 2009) was that I REALLY needed someone to hold my hand, and get me started.  I wasn’t comfortable asking Stuart for a TON of free help… he was MORE than willing to be there via email… but the concept of having a Skype chat with him, discussing a book he picked out for ME, and having him order the mats that fit the prints in the book… none of that would have EVER crossed my mind – NOR would I have asked him even if it had!

The so-called gurus and experts don’t provide this much support and help… PERSONALLY, if at all!
